Our story

Who are we?

Formations&Co originated during a meeting in 2010, between two people who are passionate about personal development and andragogy (adult education), Valérie and Christelle.

Christelle Niqueletto is an andragogy specialist with over 20 years’ experience in adult education. She is an outstanding linguist with a relentless passion for communication. She is always on the lookout for the most suitable educational programme and tirelessly continues to learn about new teaching strategies.

Valérie Sevestre began her career in the marketing and sales business and she is familiar with the company and its needs.Her vision for the company is more than an asset: it is the foundation. She has always been passionate about personal development and has attended numerous training courses in parallel with her career. Among other qualifications, she has a Masters in NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming).

They began by making the simple observation that some people learn foreign languages faster than others, and that some people take pleasure in coming to class while others seem to be struggling.

They asked themselves why, and more importantly how, to help these less receptive learners?

The answer to the “why” is very simple: no two people are the same, and everyone learns in different way.

The answer to the “how” is equally obvious: the teaching method must be adapted to each learner..

It was therefore by pooling their respective skills that they developed the pedagogy that characterises Formations & Co. DOver the past 8 years they have become increasingly popular in French-speaking Switzerland, and recently in German-speaking Switzerland as well.

Formations&Co also arose from a desire to respond to the processes and needs of companies and their human resources.
